Graduate Technical Project Manager – 3-6 month FTC – can go permanent – £30k Pro Rata – London – ASAP 

The Junior Technical Project Manager will support the delivery and commissioning of AC and DC EV charging infrastructure and other technical projects. The role requires coordinating technical commissioning, ensuring technical compatibility and support for CPMS implementation, managing communications with customers, OEMs, and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and customer-facing delivery, ensuring smooth project rollout and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

Charger & Infrastructure Delivery

  • Coordinate energisation of AC and DC chargers.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and confirmation of communications infrastructure.
  • Manage charger and vehicle OEM liaison to ensure hardware compatibility with VEV-IQ.
  • Conduct and oversee hardware testing to confirm operational readiness.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as point of contact for customers during commissioning and implementation.
  • Co-ordinate additional hardware and materials to support commissioning activities.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on project progress, changes, and resolutions.

Project & Change Control

  • Track, control, and coordinate all project activities to ensure milestones are met.
  • Manage change control processes – communicating scope changes, revised timelines, and cost implications.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Customer Success Managers, Commissioning team, and Account Managers to align activities.

Operational Readiness & Maintenance

  • Collect customer provided site information (e.g. Single Line Diagrams, site drawings, and customer requirements).
  • Support the setup of planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure smooth handover of site and project details into Business-as-Usual support processes.
  • Provide structured responses to support queries and internal communications.

What you need: 

  • A 2:1 or above in a relevant degree 
  • Knowledge of the EV space, or experience in energy, project management or the EV space would be beneficial
