Established in 1997 by two University of Brighton business graduates, Dan Hawes (above left) and Chris Cater (right), GRB have created our own talent pool of over 2 million candidates. Every day, our expert team of super-recruiters support, advise and find work for students and graduates across the UK. GRB are the go-to source for FTSE250, Fortune 100 companies, fast-growing SMEs and exciting start-ups who want to hire the very best early talent.
Throughout the year GRB learn of new entry level roles, graduate jobs, graduate schemes, internships, placements and apprenticeships across all degree disciplines, before matching them with our talent pool and carefully carrying out the recruitment process from application to job offer.

Our History
With just a £4,000 loan from a flat in Hove, Dan and Chris launched GRB in February 1997. With zero recruitment experience, no investors and fresh out of Brighton University with a Business Degree the hard work began by building a talent pool of smart graduates looking to start their careers. Employers soon took notice and started hiring. Revenue quickly flowed, the loan was repaid and the journey had begun…

At the end of our six month R&D phase, Duracell recruited Gavin from UWE as a Graduate Purchaser.
Jul 2000
100th client served
American tech company Sun Microsystems was a landmark client and our 100th to date.
Mar 2004

Head office established
Opened our head office in central Brighton, creating a strong foundation on the sunny south coast.
