Our vision
“GRB partner with employers to enable them to future proof their workforce and enable graduates to realise their potential and reach their ambitions.”
The people
“Most of us are graduates. Brighton, Sussex, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Southampton Institute, Leeds Unis, all over in fact, all living the dream in Brighton! It’s a good mix of people and we are a diverse and friendly team of over 50 people. Our founders also went to Brighton Uni – incidentally, they didn’t have any recruitment experience when they graduated and instead decided to create their own niche in graduate recruitment adopting a disruptive business model. It’s still working 30 years on.”
The company
GRB is an independent firm with plans to grow considerably in the next five years. Recruiting high calibre graduates for FTSE250 and fast growing SME recruiters, we have many clients such as Unilever, Barclays, Accenture, Citi to name but a few. We work in a close team environment which is fun, hard working and rewarding for those that contribute. Day to day the office is buzzy, always different and always progressive.
We care about our team, so we offer amazing benefits such as Vitality health cover, high street discounts (we’re talking Apple watches, gym memberships and coffees), flexible working and great incentives and financial rewards. We also throw an excellent party!

Get the career you deserve
Did you know?
You will spend more time with the people at work than anyone else – so it’s pretty important you get along with most of them, right? We think the best impression you get from a company are its people. So let’s introduce some of our team!
“I graduated in 2016 with a Film Studies degree and started out in retail management, leading a team of around 100 in a major supermarket. While I hadn’t initially considered recruitment, I was looking for a role where I could apply my communication skills and work ethic in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. GRB stood out to me because of its strong reputation, fantastic training, and real earning potential. I joined as a resourcer in the commercial team and quickly found my stride working on a range of exciting projects. The clear progression path at GRB meant I moved into a management position within just three years. I now lead my own specialist team in digital marketing, playing a key part in GRB’s continued growth. The supportive culture, development opportunities, and financial rewards have exceeded my expectations and have even helped me save for my first home while pursuing my personal goals.”
– Zara, Head of Sales Recruitment
“I graduated in 2015 with a History degree from LSE and moved to Brighton for the beach lifestyle, working early shifts in a coffee shop while figuring out my next step. Recruitment wasn’t on my radar, but the more I learned, the more it appealed – it aligned with my work ethic, love for structure, and ambition. GRB stood out for its strong reputation, supportive training, and clear progression path. I joined as a resourcer, became a consultant within six months, and exceeded my first-year target by 120%. The second year was a steep learning curve managing multiple projects, but my earnings quickly grew. In my sixth year, I became a director. GRB has helped me reach both professional and personal goals – buying a home, getting a poodle, and travelling extensively to places like Bali, Dubai, and New York. The financial and career rewards here are matched by a brilliant, supportive team.”
– Ruby, Early Talent Recruitment Director
“I had no recruitment or IT experience when I joined GRB, my background was in law and running a mobile catering business. I was ready for more stability, better hours, and a supportive office environment. The transition was a big change but came with huge benefits: weekends off, paid holidays, financial rewards, and a great team culture. Learning my market was challenging at first, but the training was thorough, and I was supported at every stage. After a year, I started seeing real results and earnings. Since joining, I’ve bought a house in Brighton, enjoyed trips abroad – Barbados was a highlight – and was promoted to Managing Consultant within three years. Now with a young family, the flexible working hours help me balance parenting with a fulfilling career. GRB has helped me build both professional success and personal freedom.”
– James, Managing Consultant
