Augusta & Co, part of Mizuho Group, is a leading financial advisory firm serving the European renewable energy sector since 2002. Augusta provides capital raising and M&A advice to clients across the European renewable energy and energy transition sectors. The company is focused on the full suite of renewable energy and energy transition technologies including wind, solar, hydro, storage, efficiency technologies, transition infrastructure, hydrogen, and data centres.
Augusta is growing fast and is looking to add multiple interns to the team in the coming months.
Your role and responsibilities will consist of
- Performing in-depth company/sector analysis and financial modelling for both pitches and live mandates, as well as translating financial analysis into concise client recommendations
- Drafting deal marketing documents as well as internal investment presentations and other client documentation where required
- Assisting in the co-ordination of due diligence activities. You will be hands-on across the entire execution process including co-ordinating workstreams with other advisers
- Firm-wide marketing activities including drafting pitches and building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients
Typical candidates will demonstrate the following credentials
- Education: top results from a leading university (you must have completed your degree by the start date of the internship).
- Sector interest: a passion to work in investment banking with a keen interest in the renewable energy sector.
- Relevant professional experience: previous work experience in relevant sectors (investment banking, consulting, renewable energy firms or other transaction services) but other suitable experience is welcomed.
- Skills: excellent analytical skills with demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Languages: Any European language is helpful, but not mandatory. Complete fluency in English is a must.
