The Role
As a Cinema Host, you’ll play an important role in delivering an outstanding experience for every guest. You’ll work across different areas of the cinema, helping customers, serving refreshments, checking tickets and ensuring the venue is clean, safe and welcoming throughout the day.
Every shift is different, giving you the opportunity to develop a wide range of customer service and operational skills. Full training is provided from your first day, with continued learning to help you build confidence and develop your career.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, helpful customer service,
- Checking tickets and helping customers find their screens.
- Preparing and serving popcorn, drinks and other refreshments.
- Keeping screens, foyers and public areas clean, safe and well presented.
- Supporting colleagues to deliver a great cinema experience during busy periods.
- Following health, safety and operational procedures at all times.

Requirements
To succeed as a Cinema Host, you’ll ideally have:
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late finishes.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and supporting colleagues.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided. An interest in film and the cinema industry is an advantage.
