What type of things will I be working on?
On this 12-month industrial placement, starting September 2026, you’ll join our Learning & Development (L&D) team, working closely with HR colleagues and contributing directly to the design and delivery of impactful development experiences. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people’s growth by:
- Coordinating workshops and development programmes, including delegate management
- Updating and preparing materials and resources for in-house learning initiatives
- Organising and scheduling coaching sessions with programme participants
- Providing advice and support for enquiries related to learning programmes and training interventions

Where will I be working?
This role is based out of one of our main sites near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw sites are located in semi-rural areas, applicants must ensure they have reliable means of transport to reach the site, as public transportation options will be limited. Alternatively, applicants should be willing to relocate to the local area.
What do I need?
We’re looking for candidates who are studying for an undergraduate degree in the area of: HR, Business Management or related fields, however we are open to applications from all degree backgrounds.
Training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in HR will be strongly considered. If you are excited about the role but feel as though you don’t meet all the requirements, we would encourage you still to apply.
