2027 Summer Internship Programme

BlackRock’s 2027 Summer Internship Programme offers an eight-week opportunity to experience the work of a full-time Analyst within a global investment management firm. Taking place between June and August, the programme combines orientation, on-the-job training, team responsibilities, mentoring and networking opportunities. It is designed for students in their penultimate year who want to build practical experience, develop their understanding of the firm and explore a potential route into BlackRock’s Full-Time Analyst Programme.

About BlackRock

BlackRock is a global investment manager and fiduciary whose purpose is to help more people experience financial well-being. Since 1999, the firm has been a leading provider of financial technology, helping clients access the solutions they need when planning for their most important financial goals.

The Role

The Summer Internship Programme is an eight-week internship taking place from June through August.

  • The programme is designed to provide students with a challenging, meaningful and supportive experience that reflects, as closely as possible, the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst.
  • The programme begins with an orientation, giving interns a thorough overview of the firm and the opportunity to hear from senior leaders. After orientation, interns receive on-the-job training and take on day-to-day responsibilities, contributing to their teams throughout the summer.
  • The programme also includes a speaker series, mentoring and networking opportunities, including activities with BlackRock’s employee networks.
  • If you enjoy the programme, you may wish to explore BlackRock’s Full-Time Analyst Programme, which you can consider applying to after completing your internship.

Company Culture

BlackRock aims to provide a supportive internship experience where students can learn, contribute and build confidence. Interns are given exposure to senior leaders, mentors, employee networks and colleagues across the firm, helping them understand the business and develop their professional network.

BlackRock is an Equal Opportunities Employer and is committed to hiring and treating all employees fairly.
