Trainee Accountant Apprenticeship (AAT)

Are you a recent graduate or school-leaver ready to launch your career in finance? An exciting opportunity awaits at a well-established independent firm of accountants and business advisers in Bingley.

They’re looking for two motivated individuals to join their AAT training programme starting this August.

Working with a diverse client base – from innovative start-ups and family-run businesses to large corporations – you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accountancy, advisory, and wealth management services.

If you’re looking for your first step into a rewarding career with expert training, real responsibility, and a supportive team behind you, then this could be for you.

What would I be doing?

  • Studying towards your fully funded AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification
  • Gaining hands-on experience with Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing basic financial statements
  • Assisting with audit fieldwork and testing

What’s in it for me?

  • A competitive salary: £17.5K+ for school-leavers, and £21K+ for graduates
  • Fully funded AAT and the option to pursue the ACA afterwards
  • Career progression: The majority of partners and directors at this firm started out as trainees
  • Social company culture: regular social, charity and fundraising events.
  • Free parking.

Requirements:

  • 7 or above in GCSE Maths
  • For school-leavers: BBB or above at A Level
  • For graduates: at least BBB at A Level AND a 2:1 in a non-accounting degree
  • Less than 45 minutes from Bingley during rush hour
  • Motivated to pursue a long-term career in accounting
