My client is a market leading software house developing cutting edge software solutions for the retail industry. They are a leader in their field and their software is used by well known high street retailers.
The client’s offices are based in Croydon. Initially you will be working in office with a view to working on a hybrid basis after a few months. This role would be ideally suited to a candidate who has 1-2 years worth of relevant experience, however candidates with less experience will be considered also. The successful applicant must be prepared to undergo a DBS check prior to commencement of employment.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Testing of web applications
- Penetration testing to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in software systems, networks and applications
- Development of automated tests
- Writing of detailed software test plans
- Liaising with customers to manage industry certification testing
Skills Needed:
- Some experience with software testing, with a focus on Web and Penetration Testing
- Strong knowledge of web technologies and OSI model ( Http and TCP Protocols, JSON, XML ad HTML)
- Familiarity with web security concepts
- Experience with penetration testing tools
