The NGDP Finance Graduate Scheme, a specialised stream within the NGDP, offers a four-year programme dedicated to developing future local government and public sector finance leaders.
As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in critical financial areas like budgeting, auditing, and accounting while pursuing the prestigious CIPFA Level 7 Apprenticeship (fully funded). This includes the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy’s Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIPFA PAQ), a cornerstone for a career in public finance management.

Salary
Salaries start from £30,296, depending on the participating organisation with which you are placed (plus inner/outer London weighting if applicable).

Eligibility
The NGDP welcomes graduates from all backgrounds and areas of study. Our only requirements are:
- A minimum 2.2 undergraduate degree by July 2024
- Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas.
