The Role
Our Level 6 Project Management Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to gain practical knowledge into a Project Manager’s responsibility for the end to end delivery of projects.
The apprenticeship is designed to develop your understanding of delivering projects in line with defined objectives and taking decisions to manage stakeholder expectations by leading a multi skilled, cross disciplinary team to deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements.
- Be involved in all aspects of the Project Management process, applying governance and project management methods to deliver projects
- Gain an understanding of how projects are managed within wider programmes
- Work closely with engineers, designers and construction partners on real projects
- Take part in planned rotations across different functions to broaden your experience
- Work across sites, adapting to different environments while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety
Training and Development
As part of the scheme, you will balance part-time university study with practical experience. This is a degree-level apprenticeship and upon successful completion, you will achieve either a BA or BSc Honours degree in Project Management.
Completing this course means you will also gain the APM Project Management Qualification and be eligible to become a Member of the Association for Project Management.

Requirements
- Appropriate level 3 qualifications such as 3 GCE A Levels at grades A to C, or a vocational equivalent
- Typically achieved Maths and English at Level 2 prior to starting the apprenticeship
- Logical thinker with an organised mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self motivated with a good work ethic and proactive approach
- Interest in Project Management and ability to build strong working relationships
